to yesterday. 11 degrees warmer in fremont and livermore with the north bay even warmer as well. we still saw some 30s this morning. chilly in napa. cloudy and a warmer day today and tomorrow. cooler weather heads our way on tuesday and with that we will look for a storm system to arrive on wednesday. it's a fast mover. anywhere from a quarter of an inch to three quarters of an inch of rain is anticipated for wednesday into thursday in the north bay. high temperatures today in the 60s. that's a little bit above normal. we should be in the upper 50s, to about 60. so a modest warmup today and tomorrow. and that's due to a slight offshore flow compliments of a ridge of high pressure that is building in to the eastern pacific, and as it does we are looking at that flow bringing some gusty winds down from the higher elevations. and also with the setup like this we are looking for a high fire danger in san diego. so really much of california will be dominated by this area of high pressure which deflects the storm systems to the north and brings that sustenance and dryer, warmer air our way. fast fo

. pockets are working down into the immediate bay area, we've got moisture down near fremont. and a little bit in the north bay. widely scattered right now. you can see massive moisture to our north. the rain moving around sea ranch right now towards clover dale, it's working farther south and eastward. we'll see more wide spread rainfall then we're seeing at the moment. temperatures upper 50s to low 60s. a uniform range of readings. scattered showers most of the evening and overnight. well see a drier pattern beginning on thursday lasting for a due days. approaching system is producing all of the rainfall which is to our northwest at the moment but moving into our direction. we'll start at 7:00 this evening, we'll see more wide spread rain than we're seeing now or, perhaps, showers, then, during late night hours, up to about 5:00 in the morning we'll see showers and rain more wide spread. later in the day rain intensifies in spots. there will be a more compressed area of rainfall. but it's going to be steadier rain there mid day tomorrow. and into mid morning hours, then, as we get into l

treasure island. the drive time is nearly 10 minutes on to the maze from a fremont. the san mateo bridge, there is a little bit of water on the camera lens but no issue. 101 the southbound plenty of space between cars. there are problems with the visibility and portions of the north bay. certainly drive with extra caution. >> residents in an area of "la honda" are being advise by the san mateo county department of public works to conserve water after storms have stirred up the regions main water source. authorities say recent storms led high levels of sediments in the alpine creek. that's the water source to about a hundred customers in the la honda area. until the water can be replenished, the district is importing from a water source three miles away and asking residents to scale back on water usage. >> clean up crews were in a san anselmo neighborhood, where a clogged sewer pipe overflowed... sending about 30 -thousand gallons of raw sewage, into resident's homes .... and mixing into sleepy hollow creek. san ansemlo resident aliysia flocco explains .....and what her family had to d

showers in fremont. san jose dry, morgan hill with a few scattered showers and along the peninsula, san francisco in to the south bay and along the coastline, pacifica getting wet. half moon bay dry but you can expect scattered showers as well. the satellite, radar, we have this moving through. this is going to be pretty much the most we see for this morning. behind us we will get a bit of a break that you can see that moisture plume just a river of moisture that will continue driving our way and by tomorrow morning, the bulk of this third and final round of rain will come our way. giving you a look. dealing with the scattered showers but by midmorning mostly cloudy but mostly dry. we have a lot of moisture in the air, a few scattered showers a possibility but by sunset here comes more of a steady light rain and into tomorrow morning there is the wallup over the north bay. into 7:00 it's now shifting. at this time tomorrow morning we will be dealing with this, very heavy, rain at times, into the south bay at 9:00 noontime, still a little hanging on but look to the north bay already star
